ACCOMPANYING PROGRAMME OF THE CONQUERING PUBLIC SPACES CONFERENCE – WORKSHOPS

The Conquering Public Spaces international conference will take place on 10 and 11 November 2011 from 9:30 at the Municipal Library of Prague (Mariánské náměstí 98/1, Staré Město, Prague, www.mlp.cz). In addition to presentations by participants from nearly 40 organisations from around the world, the following workshops will be held during the conference and are open to the public:

Music workshop by William Longden (Joy of Sound, GB)

Thursday 10 November / 10:15-11:15 / Municipal Library, workshop room
An inclusive musical workshop led by William Longden, founder of the non-profit organisation of the same name.

Workshop story making for film and performance “The story unravelling” by Ray Jacobs and Mervyn Bradley (Arty Party, GB)

Thursday, 10 November / 14:00-16:30 / Municipal Library, workshop room

Workshop “Cities and Bridges: From Here to There, Me to You” by Katja de Bragança, Maria de Bragança Roberts and Paul Roberts (Ohrenkuss Magazine, Germany)

Friday, 11 November / 9:30, the workshop will continue outside the building and will last 5 hours or longer; starts in the Municipal Library, workshop room
Please bring: A stone, a postcard, a photo, a treasure and a piece of fabric, shoes for walking, a raincoat and a good mood.
